Initial consultation
Approximately 45 minutes

Your first appointment includes time to discuss your symptoms, medical history and lifestyle, followed by an appropriate physical assessment and, where suitable, treatment.
Follow-up consultation
Approximately 30 minutes

Follow-up appointments allow your osteopath to review your progress and continue or adapt your treatment plan according to your needs.
Health insurance
Holme Valley Osteopathy is registered with major health insurance providers, including Bupa, AXA Health and Simplyhealth.
Cover and claiming procedures vary between insurers and individual policies. We recommend contacting your provider before arranging treatment to confirm:
- Whether osteopathic treatment is included
- Whether a GP referral is required
- The number or value of appointments covered
- Whether your chosen osteopath is recognised by your policy
