BSc (Hons) B. Ost (GOsC 5888)
Like many osteopaths, Hannah developed a passion for osteopathy after experiencing successful treatment herself as a teenager. After leaving school, she completed a degree in Sports Science and Physiology at Leeds University. She then studied osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy in London, graduating with a distinction in 2005.
Hannah practised in various clinics across West and North Yorkshire and worked for a semi-professional rugby club for two years before establishing Holme Valley Osteopathy in 2008.
She has extensive experience treating a wide range of patients of all ages and has undertaken postgraduate study in cranial osteopathy.
Hannah is passionate about how osteopathic treatment is patient-centred, allowing practitioners to consider how lifestyle factors can closely influence body mechanics.
Outside of the clinic, Hannah is married with two children and enjoys playing competitive netball and running.

Having qualified as a Master of Osteopathy from Leeds Beckett University, Kiran has always had a strong desire to work within the healthcare profession and has seen first-hand the positive impact osteopathic treatment can have on people’s lives.
Kiran has gained valuable experience, working in a variety of clinical settings and specialises in the treatment of pregnant women. She is passionate about helping patients understand how their bodies change throughout this stage of their life and is committed to improving awareness and education in this area.
Kiran takes a holistic approach to patient care, combining hands-on osteopathic treatment with personalised lifestyle advice and practical recommendations. Alongside treatment plans and any prescribed medication, she works with patients to identify positive lifestyle changes that can optimise recovery, improve overall wellbeing and support long-term health outcomes.
Coming from a musical background, Kiran enjoys playing the piano in her spare time. She also likes going to the gym, reading, and spending time socialising with friends and family.

Helena graduated from Plymouth Marjon University with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy (M.Ost) in 2022, alongside an additional ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage.
Helena is passionate about helping her patients optimise their health and maintain functional movement throughout all stages of life. Her treatment approach is holistic, aiming to identify and resolve dysfunctional movement patterns that may impair sports performance or contribute to pain and injury. She believes in the power of educating her patients and providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain their bodies and support long-term wellbeing.
Recognising that every individual is unique, Helena takes the time to conduct a thorough case history and assessment before creating a personalised treatment plan. Her approach combines a range of osteopathic techniques with rehabilitation exercises and nutritional advice to help patients achieve their health and movement goals.
When she’s not at the clinic, Helena enjoys walking her dog, Sailor, practising yoga, and keeping active at the gym.
Diana is one of the first people to greet you when you call or arrive at the practice. Responsible for a wide range of reception and administrative duties, Diana works alongside Elaine and Sam to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic and to provide a welcoming experience for every patient.
Diana joined Holme Valley Osteopathy after first becoming a patient of the practice in 2011. Having experienced the benefits of osteopathic treatment herself, she was delighted to later become part of the team.
When she is not speaking to patients or managing the general running of the practice, Diana enjoys gardening, walking with friends, reading, and going to the theatre and cinema.
Elaine has extensive customer service experience, having previously worked at BUPA business centre, Nuffield and BMI hospitals. Her friendly and approachable nature, combined with her strong organisational skills, help ensure that patients and visitors receive a warm welcome and excellent service from the moment they arrive.
Outside of work, Elaine enjoys walking her two dogs, attending theatre productions and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She has also recently completed a renovation of her home, a project she thoroughly enjoyed and found incredibly rewarding.
Sam shares reception duties with Diana and Elaine and is often one of the first friendly faces patients see when they visit the clinic. Her approachable manner and caring nature make her a valued member of the reception team.
Outside of work, Sam has a passion for upcycling furniture and loves transforming old pieces into something unique and beautiful. She also enjoys spending time in her garden and making the most of the outdoors. When she has the opportunity, Sam loves exploring different parts of the UK in her caravan.
